Learning Key Points

01. Become a person who contributes to society “with” language skills

Tenri University was founded in 1925 as Tenri School of Foreign Language. With the know-how cultivated through its long history and tradition, Tenri University is one of the few universities in Japan that specializes in the study of a variety of languages. Students will acquire the ability to contribute to society with their foreign language skills.

02. Go “Global” with Study Abroad and International Programs

Many students experience study abroad under the attractive study abroad program with abundant opportunities and scholarships. The Faculty also offers a variety of unique international programs, such as overseas language training and cross-cultural training. The experience of being a “minority” in a foreign country helps students hone their ability to accept diversity and different cultures.

03. Being attentive to multicultural society and supporting it

As globalization becomes an everyday reality, the ability to understand and accept others who are different from ourselves is increasingly in demand. We offer many opportunities for volunteer activities and fieldwork to cultivate the ability to contribute to diversity and inclusion.
