01.Friendly guidance in a small group setting
We provide friendly guidance to each student in small classes. Based on the tradition and achievement of being the first in Japan to introduce the Sandplay (Hakoniwa) Therapy, the program covers a wide range of psychological fields and also offers a full range of counseling and various hands-on practicums.

02. Making the most of your psychology studies
The first model is for students who wish to enter graduate school and obtain a license as a licensed psychologist or clinical psychologist, and the second model is for students who wish to work in a general business or in an interpersonal support-related field. Students can immerse themselves in their studies with a clear vision of their future.

03. Practical learning through on-site support activities
We actively provide support for children who are not attending school and schools in cooperation with the local community, as well as volunteer work at nursing homes and judicial facilities. Through on-the-job experiences, we nurture communication and compassion.

Enrollment models and qualification models to make the most of your learning for the future
"Aspiring to obtain certification (licensed psychologist/clinical psychologist)" enrollment model
Students will aim to obtain certification as a licensed psychologist or clinical psychologist with a view to entering graduate school. Students are expected to find employment in hospitals, probation officers, children's homes, school counselors, etc.
※ In the certification model, the selection process takes place in the second year of study.

"Interpersonal Society" enrollment model
Students learn interpersonal skills that are useful in society, how to communicate, how to cope with stress, and how to maintain mental health. Students will acquire the skills necessary for a variety of career paths, including general business, nursing home staff, and other interpersonal support-related positions.

Students will read texts on psychology and find areas of interest, aiming to be able to explain the history of psychology, areas of research, basic perspectives, and the main classical theories.

Students study basic subjects such as mental disorders and their treatment, criminal psychology and developmental psychology, as well as psychological testing and intelligence testing through hands-on exercises.

The goal of this course is to understand the difficulties faced by people suffering from mental disorders and to be able to explain the etiology, treatment, and suffering of having a disorder from the perspective of clinical psychology and psychiatry.

2. (Attitude, Motivation, Thought) Those who are interested in exploring psychological issues through the perspective of human potential.
3. (Thought, Knowledge, Skills) Those who can study mental functions from multiple perspectives and develop an integrated understanding based on a broad outlook.
4. (Creativity, Thought) Those who are interested in deepening discovery and insight by engaging with the creativity of their own mind.
5. (Attitude) Those who can take an active and independent approach to studying psychology.

The curriculum is systematically structured to provide lectures to learn about psychology on a wide range, and seminars and practicum to cultivate practical skills.
In the first year, students take introductory seminars to build foundational understanding. In the second year, they progress to basic and intermediate subjects, followed by advanced subjects and practicums in their third year. During the third and fourth years, students participate in comprehensive seminars designed to integrate their learning and prepare to write their Graduation Thesis.
The curriculum is also organized so that students can earn the credits required to sit for the national examination for Certified Public Psychologists. In addition, it offers specialized subjects that provide the knowledge and skills necessary to qualify as a Clinical Psychologist (certified by the Foundation of the Japanese Certification Board for Clinical Psychologists).
Also, we offer a curriculum that focuses on learning to acquire a solid foundation of psychological knowledge, develops strong communication skills, and fosters the ability to contribute meaningfully to society.Diploma Policy
A bachelor's degree (Clinical Psychology) will be awarded to students who have acquired the following knowledge and abilities:
