FURUSATOKO FELLOWSHIP

In 1933, Furusatoko Fellowship was established as a central part of the religious activity in the University. Successive presidents of the University have been in charge of its Service performance. There are a number of Special Services throughout the year such as the Grand Service in January and October, the New YearÅfs Day Service, and the Memorial Service in March and September in addition to the Monthly Service on the 12th of every month and daily Morning and Evening Services.


  UNIVERSITY DORMITORIES

Based on the spirit of its foundation Tenri University has worked to provide students with a nurturing environment in which they can study and further cultivate their minds. In this respect, university dormitories have been maintained since the founding of the University.

Presently, there are three dormitories for male students, namely, Somanouchi Furusato, Tainosho Furusato, and Tamachi Furusato Dormitories. Also, there are three dormitories for female students, namely, Toyoi Furusato, Senzai Furusato, and Suikyo Dormitories.


  STUDENT COUNSELING SERVICE

Tenri University maintains a student counseling room to provide students with counseling services. Professional counselors are available to students. The University also assigns faculty members as academic advisers to assist students on various matters.


  STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES

Tenri University has a health service both on the main campus and on the Tainosho Campus where students can receive such services as an annual health examination, first aid, advice on healthÅ]related matters, and referral to doctors and hospitals when necessary.
